What is wine?

Wine is the alcoholic beverage obtained from the fermentation of the juice of freshly gathered grapes.


What is fermentation?

Fermentation, in the case of wine, is the process of converting sugar (in the grape juice) to
Ethanol (ethyl alcohol) and Carbon Dioxide effected by the anaerobic (oxygen free) metabolism of Yeast.
