Daniel has been involved in wine related activities since 1987, and has worked in various capacities in the Hospitality Industry, Wine Retail, Wine Import & Distribution and Wine Training.

WINE CAREER MILESTONES:

Creating Wine and Beverage Program for the opening of Club Shanghai, a multi-concept Food & Beverage establishment with, a Modern French Fine Dining Restaurant, a Modern Full Bar & Cocktail Lounge and a Dinner & Dancing Ballroom in Shanghai, People's Republic of China, 2004-2005.

Winning for Club Shanghai, the "Award of Excellence, 2005 Restaurant Awards Program", Wine Spectator Magazine, USA.  Club Shanghai was one of the two the free-standing restaurant in Mainland China to receive this award.

Organising and managing wine operations and service for "Fine Wine for the Fine City, Shanghai" Wine Tasting held at Plaza 66, and Vintners Dinner at Four Seasons Shanghai, Shanghai, Peoples Republic of China, June 2004.

Winning for Raffles Grill, the "Best of Award of Excellence, 2004 Restaurant Awards Program", Wine Spectator Magazine, USA and having the same wine list nominated as Finalist in "Best Wine List" category of the Awards of Excellence for World Gourmet Summit 2004, Singapore.

Organising and running all aspects of the wine logistics, operations and wine service for the very successful "The New Annual Raffles Hotel Wine, Food and Arts Experience 2004", Raffles Hotel, Singapore, February 2004.

Organising and managing wine service for "South Australian Masterpieces 2", held at China World Hotel, Beijing, Peoples Republic of China, October 2003.

Creating Wine & Beverage Program for the opening of a Modern Australian Cuisine Restaurant, Bar & Gourmet Market, Whitebait & Kale in 2003.

Running the Wine Program for Grand Hyatt Singapore and having Wine List of mezza9 being nominated as finalist in "Best Wine List" category of the Awards of Excellence for World Gourmet Summit 2001 & 2002.
